Fun with Cupcake Toppers!

Happy Happy Friday!
 Since I am stiiiillll burned out on making cupcakes...but am in L.O.V.E with these adorably sweet cupcake toppers,  I thought I would experiment a little bit.  I can think of so many ways you could use these little cuties to carry a party theme...but here are my two favorites {to date!}...cards and garland!

For the cards:  Simply tape or glue topper to a blank piece of card stock and stamp or print your info or message.  Easy peasy!

For the garland:  I just cut off the cupcake stick and attached them to some twine with a mini clothespin.  It takes minutes and works great for any celebration!

...and thank heaven for daughter's who love baking!   YEP.YEP.YEP!  Laurissy made these cupcakes for David's family dinner night.  Nothing like enjoying a big family together after his long, no shower for two weeks, freezing cold, no sleep... month "in the field"!  Of course, Caleb thought the cupcakes were made just for him and I think that Poppi thought they were just for him to celebrate his good cholesterol report. We got Caleb's Allie up to speed on homemade vs. store-bought frosting and I tried not to think of the artificial food dye in the colored-confetti!  Dinner time is never.ever dull...and I can NOT imagine having a prim and proper dinner without all of the laughing and story telling!  Family is THE BEST!

{so, yes...we actually did use the cupcake toppers for what they were intended for!}
