A Healthy Orange Pineapple Lemon Smoothie


One of the best parts of summer is all of the fresh fruit!  What do you think?  I love picking fresh fruit and freezing it in one and two cup portions.

As tempting as sugared-frozen treats are, I am really trying to cut down on sugar.  It may be that I could be the grumpiest individual in the world if I had to give up sugar altogether...so, smoothies without the added sugar is the perfect sweet treat!

It is quick to whip up for a morning drink "on the go" or yummy enough to serve for a festive morning brunch.


Orange Pineapple Lemon Smoothie

2 cups COLD pure orange juice...no added sugar

1 cup frozen pineapple

2 tablespoons pure lemon juice...not from concentrate

*  Place all ingredients into blender and process until everything is blended.

*  Pour into chilled glasses and sip away!
