So many women did not have a close and healthy relationship with their dad and it affects how they relate to men. Your dad has given you such a gift of his time.

I've also been blessed with a father who always loved me and still does. I never doubted that even though he is far from perfect. He will certainly admit that too. :)

Thanks for sharing these adorable photos too.

Blessings and love,
DebbieDebbie Petrashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08235978883396499354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3790455187678422376.post-26027775169299651112010-11-01T20:54:36.511-07:002010-11-01T20:54:36.511-07:00I used to have a friend who was from Nigeria (he d...I used to have a friend who was from Nigeria (he died a few years ago) and he was notoriously late, his family always had to wait for him and he didn't seem phased at all... because he was talking to (and almost always) witnessing to strangers wherever he went! At his funeral so many people talked about how he impacted them by taking the time to hear him and invest in their lives. I think about him a lot and want that to be said of me... even if I inconvenience people occasionally.

The other day we were leaving a wedding really late and the kids were super tired. I was saying goodbye to my brother in law who is not a believer and he really wanted to talk. Cliff sat is the car (patiently) for about 25 minutes with them while I witnessed to him and listened to his view of God. It was so great to take time and not hurry and be to busy to have a talk like that.

It is super hard to not be busy all the time. I've been thinking about that a lot lately. Thanks for helping me to think about it some more! :) I think you're turning into quite the mentor to me! It's nice to have someone to look up to who has done it right (loves your husband, has great relationships with kids/friends, etc.) Thanks!Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17540512478156494208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3790455187678422376.post-28718279128896455762010-11-01T19:09:44.917-07:002010-11-01T19:09:44.917-07:00AMEN!!!!AMEN!!!!CarrieMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08748959131382797114noreply@blogger.com
