Lemon Crab Linguine



Here is a fast...12 minute to be exact...recipe for a dinner that is plain.old.delicious!! Great to serve for a quick dinner and fancy enough for guests. Of course, our guests are also served leftovers and burned grilled cheese...but you know what I mean, right? It is even better the second day!

Dinner menu:

Sparkling Apple Juice

Dinner Salad

Lemon Crab Linguine

Fresh Berries

Grilled Bread


Lemon Crab Linguine

Adapted from a grocery store recipe card


8 oz. Linguine, cooked according to package directions

1/4 cup olive oil

1 shallot, minced

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 tsp. oregano

16 oz. crab meat

2 cups spinach leaves...i use scissors to cut off stems and cut it into bite sizes

1 cup grape tomatoes, cut into half

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

Parmesan cheese to garnish

*After the pasta water is put onto the stove to heat, start heating the oil over medim heat.

*Add the shallot and the garlic and cook until tender. DO NOT BURN!

*Add the oregano

*Stir in the crab, spinach, tomatoes and lemon.

*Add veggies to cooked, drained pasta and serve!
